Title IV
Wave Leadership College is a Title IV Certified institution of higher education. All accepted students who timely complete the FAFSA, will be notified of their eligibility for federal aid.
Pell Grants
A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid.
The maximum Pell Grant award for the 2018-19 award year (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019) was $6,095.00
The amount depends on your financial need, costs to attend school, status as a full-time or part-time student, and plans to attend school for a full academic year or less.
Loans
Federal Direct Loan Student Electronic Entrance Counseling
You complete this by reading information and answering questions regarding student loans. You must do this before taking out a government loan. studentloans.gov – Use your student FSA ID.
Federal Direct Loan Student eMPN (Master Promissory Note)
If you want to take out any student loans (subsidized or unsubsidized), you must complete this loan application. By doing so, you agree to all terms and conditions.

Federal Direct Subsidized Student Loan
A subsidized student loan offered by the government does not earn interest until after you leave or graduate from college. Neither the loan nor the interest is due until six months after you leave or graduate from college, and then the balance is divided into monthly payment over several years. studentloans.gov – Use your student FSA ID.
Federal Direct Unsubsidized Student Loan
An unsubsidized student loan offered by the government earns interest as soon as the funds are applied to your account. Disclosure: Federal regulations for financial aid require that you immediately notify WLC’s student financial services office if you receive, or will receive, any scholarships/awards, waivers, grants or other funds not listed in your WLC financial aid award letter. Failure to do so could result in your having to repay to the university funds that have already been disbursed.
HEERF Funds
Funding is limited and is not guaranteed. Each Student account will be evaluated before applicable funds are disbursed. We will act diligently to review your request and look forward to assisting you.
WLC has received funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) via the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF III). As required by law, a portion of these funds have been designated to be financial aid grants to students with financial needs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic
